Welcome to the 6th INAS-FID Indoor
Athletics World Championship in Bollnäs
I have the pleasure - in a time of successful events for INAS-FID - to wish you welcome to Indoor World Championships (IWC) in Bollnäs. This is one of the Indoor Championships during the years that has the most athletes, coaches and teams. The total number of persons in Bollnäs with different missions in connection to this event is about 250. The number of athletes about 120, teams 15, representing three different regions. To be able to organise such a big Championship we have support from 60 officials from Bollnäs, Söderhamn and Edsbyn. 20 team guides from the local high school in Bollnäs and about 30 other volunteers. The government, the region and the county administration of Gavleborg and the municipality of
Bollnas have supported these Championships. The Rotary Clubs in Bollnäs are responsible for the prize ceremonies. A lot of enterprises have sponsored IWC to whom we express our thanks.
